How does laser treatment of onychomycosis work
Local anesthesia is not required during treatment. The high-power laser heats the nail plate and fingernail. Heat treatment eliminates the bacteria that cause mold. The procedure is painless, in case of a larger problem it is recommended to repeat the treatment 2-3 times.
