Laser hemangioma removal
Laser therapy can effectively treat a wide range of vascular lesions and hemangiomas. Hemangioma is a bright red, benign vascular tumor that usually occurs at birth or shortly after birth. It is formed by blood vessels, sometimes appearing in the form of red growths on any part of the body. Hemangiomas grow rapidly during the first year of a child and then decrease during the time, in adults they tend to grow. These are usually harmless tumors, but if they occur in some places where there is more friction or interfere with shaving, then it is advisable to remove them.

How laser hemangiomas are removed
The hemangioma is removed by a high-power vascular laser, whose beam targets the red blood pigment (hemangioma) without damaging the surrounding tissue. Due to its heating, the vessels shrink and then are absorbed. In the case of more sensitive people, an anesthetic cream is applied before the procedure.
Before the procedure
It is necessary not to expose the skin to the sun before the procedure itself, the skin must not be tanned. Hemangiomas can be examined with a dermatoscope in person with a doctor.
Regeneration
For fast healing and good regeneration, pay attention to consistent protection from the sun by using quality protective creams with a high filter. Redness may appear in the treated area immediately after the procedure, small scabs or swelling may form. However, after a few days, the symptoms subside.
Contraindication
Used laser
At our clinic, the procedure is usually performed with a Synchro Repla: Y laser from the Italian manufacturer DEKA.
The system offers the widest range of wavelengths: Alexandrite, Nd: YAG and pulse lamps. Synchro REPLA: Y offers 3 different platforms. The benefits of these Synchro REPLA: Y settings give doctors the ability to customize the characteristics of the alexandrite and Nd: YAG lasers along with a flexible and optional pulse lamp. Designed to meet innovative requirements, the SmartCooler skin contact cooling system reduces recovery time, minimizes treatment invasiveness, and makes it essentially painless, with maximum patient comfort.
