How the treatment works
The microdermabrasion doctors have special equipment for this session in their arsenal. It guides microcrystals of diamond to the skin integument with the help of vacuum. The therapy won’t cause pain, what means that it doesn’t require the use of an anaesthetic. Immediately after the procedure, which takes about 30-40 minutes, soothing and moisturizing mask is put on the treated area. As you can see, there are not so many microdermabrasion procedure steps.
After-care
The area affected by this procedure doesn’t require special care, except for the scarring removal. In this case you will need to take care of the damaged skin (don’t wet it on the day of the procedure and wait till next day, when you may use some drying medicine, don’t remove the crust). Patients are advised to make use of the further customary skin care, for example, medications which are intended to struggle with a specific problem (rejuvenation, post-acne, etc.).
It is noteworthy that this therapy can be used at any time of the year; however, after it, regardless of the season, the skin should be protected from ultraviolet radiation.
