How much does laser wart removal cost

The price of the laser procedure depends mainly on the number, size and depth of the warts. You will find an up-to-date overview of prices in our laser medicine price list; however, the exact amount is always set by the doctor after the initial examination. Also keep an eye on our offers and discounts, where we regularly publish special prices for selected treatments.

Why choose our clinic for laser wart removal

A good laser procedure is not just about the final figure on the invoice, but about what you actually get for the price. Transparency, expertise and care that does not end when you leave the surgery – this is what we offer our patients. Read about our clients’ experience with laser wart removal.

A transparent price with no extras

We always tell you the price of the procedure in advance. No hidden fees for consumables or local anaesthesia; what is agreed is what you pay.

Consultation included in the price

The initial consultation, at which the doctor examines the wart with a dermatoscope and suggests the treatment plan, is included in the price of the procedure. You do not pay separately for the examination and the treatment.

Often a result after a single visit

In many cases a single visit is enough, but sometimes the procedure needs to be repeated.

Custom icon
Treatment with minimal discomfort

Before the procedure we apply a local anaesthetic. The whole treatment is usually very well tolerated and involves minimal bleeding, because the beam vaporises the tissue and seals the surrounding vessels at the same time.

Experienced dermatologists

The procedure is performed only by specialised doctors with many years of experience. The correct laser settings affect both the result and the likelihood of the wart coming back.

Regular follow-up checks

A follow-up visit about three weeks after the treatment is a standard part of our care. The doctor assesses the healing and recommends additional treatment if needed.

FAQ - price of laser wart removal in Prague

Before deciding on the procedure, these are the questions people ask most often. Here are the answers.

Does the price of laser wart removal depend on the number and size of warts?

Yes, directly. A small wart in an easily accessible place takes less time and is technically simpler than a deep plantar wart or a growth around the nail. That is why the doctor always sets the exact price only after the initial examination, when he assesses the number, size and location of the warts.

Does health insurance cover laser wart removal?

Laser wart removal is not usually covered by health insurance; it is an aesthetic procedure that the patient pays for in full. Our clinic does not work with health insurers.

Is the initial consultation paid separately?

If you decide not to have the procedure, the consultation is paid. If you go ahead with it, the consultation is already included in the price, so you pay nothing extra.

Why does laser wart removal cost more than freezing or a pharmacy cream?

The laser works with millimetre precision and treats the wart in its full depth.

Pharmacy freezing sprays and liquid nitrogen treatment at the surgery usually require several repeat sessions.

In practice, the higher one-off price of the laser therefore often equals the total cost of repeated cryotherapy. Read more in the article laser vs cryotherapy for warts.

Do I have to pay again if the wart comes back after removal?

A recurrence cannot be completely ruled out even after a laser procedure.

If it happens, the doctor assesses the situation individually at the follow-up visit and recommends the next steps. We always tell you the terms of any repeat treatment in advance and transparently.

The information on this page is general in nature and does not substitute for an in-person consultation with a doctor. The suitability of the procedure, its extent and any risks are assessed by the doctor individually at the first examination. Contraindications and results vary from case to case. If you have any health concerns, please seek advice from your own doctor.
